Yeah, it seems out of character for Valve to announce a sequel so soon but I still trust Valve to make this game incredible. I've got 130 hours and counting out of L4D and it's only been out for what, 8 months? This is the only game that i'm buying for sure this fall (assuming starcraft 2 is delayed to 2010).

I played the Friday free play and though it was awesome. I was going to buy it, but with this announcement I'm just going to wait. It's an awesome game. While I don't like FPS, this form of co-op monster horde is amazingly fun. Though I doubt it will happen. I'm hoping for better third person support. The command line third-person had faulty targeting.

So i'm going to pretty happy with this and The Grinder come next year.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

I'm really excited for the PC version (user content, frequent updates/content, free weekends and weekend deals).... and because it's another Valve game.

I really want to get some info in Episode 3 though.....

@ameratsu- I literally spent most of the past free weekend playing the game. I didn't get much sleep then lol.

why did you buy it twice?

Once on the 360 because they had their controls setup *very* well and there were Live friends I wanted to play with and once on Steam because there were work friends I wanted to play with and make my own maps. ^^
