Crackdown and Halo:Reach next year makes me a happy man.

Onyx, word has it that they casualized Forza 3 so you and I might be able to partake of it a little easier.

That's true. If they arcade Forza up a bit, I might not vomit while playing it any longer. So far the only cool thing I've done in Forza is play online matches, turn my car in the wrong direction and crash into on-coming traffic. The bitching you hear from players is epic.

How have I never tried this before??  (except by accident...)

I have to say, for the first time ever, I walked away impressed with the sheer amount of great NEW games that a console showed. All the filler was right at the start, and I had a great time with the show. I'm much more exciited about my 360 than I was before it, so I guess the show kinda worked.

Granted, last year's "Oh snap" FFXIII announcement gave me more pleasure as a human, but this year was MUCH better for me as a gamer. Really great stuff. They really focused in on the 360 core audience. Color me pleased.

My fav games of the show so far:

Shadow Complex
Bayonetta(Shown afterwards on G4)
Modern Warfare 2
Alan Wake
Splinter Cell: Conviction
Forza 3

I was shocked shitless by all of those, lol. I can't wait. Epic woot!

I don't even like Splinter Cell, or racing games, but those look pretty cool, lol.

Also, that Lucas Arts adventure game. Day 1 for me.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

I'm glad Alan Wake didn't disappoint you Zen. I know you've been hyping that one for a while. I think it looks awesome too.

lol, I don't hype, I touch meself to pretty pictures.

As far as that goes, I'm even MORE excited about sexhay Bayonetta:

I thought the offering was fairly balanced on the hardcore side of the equation. Did anyone else feel like Microsoft was trying to make a point? It was action, mature, graphical glory. You could feel it in your bones that it had been built from the ground up for testosterone. That is what every single title was about.

I see nothing wrong with the offerings they presented. Two Halo titles, Crackdown, Forza, Splinter Cell, and that is basically what 360 owners wanted. Can you bitch about the fans getting what they wanted. I for one am a little disappointed that Crackdown did not get a release date. That does not mean it cannot release this year, but it feels like it could be a floater for Microsoft like Smash Brothers was for Nintendo.

What I am interested in is where Rare, Lionshead, and Mistwalker are. Along with the Southpark game. We know the first two are supposed to deliver games, and its hard to imagine that Mistwalker does not have a game, but perhaps they are saving that for later in the year.

Out of all the exclusives, most excited about Splinter cell: conviction.

I thought it was awesome when I first saw it on the MS press conference, but when Ubisoft flaunted it......HOLY CRAP!!!

Splinter cell is back to it's glory days baby. It reminded me of the first splinter cell that was just mind blowing and vert polished. But, they are soooo different.

The real time stuff with the objectives etc on the wall, awesome innovative implementation. It gives the game such a unique feel.

It's okay, nothing amazing. I was hoping for a proper game from Lionhead. While I was quite impressed with Alan Wake and SC, iwon't be buying either of them, nor will I be buying L4D2, because I hate their respective genres.

As for Forza 3, the arrogance of the guy presenting annoyed me. He went on & on about how it was the definitive racing game, ignoring GT. In the EA press conference, somehow the guy presenting SHiFT managed to not say definitive at all, and besides I thought SHiFT looked better

So this christmas I am buying 0 exclusives on Xbox, AC2 is the only game I will get on the console

Well we know that out of those, atleast left 4 dead isn't exclusive :p Seeing as how i'll be able to pick it up for my pc aswell. Day 1

Looks like i missed a party last night.

New mgs ? I thought it might be related to that. (their special 5 minutes)

WoW about Left 4 Dead 2.. the first one almost made buy a 360.

Also Forza3 trailer was nice though it looked like a Need for Speed trailer

I can not say i got exited about anything else, good line up for sure

@Munkeh111

I agree the attitude was highly arrogant. However don't we owe it to them to see it in context. Has anyone ever lambasted Sony for their GT5 claims, and Sony has made some rather bold claims, and then we have had the fans recite them verbatim. I am sure Sony would rather not have this point challenged, but damn its fresh to see someone stand up to them.

Sony has droned on about GT5 for years, and today Microsoft finally stepped up insulted Sony and through down the gauntlet. You got to admit that is showmanship. Microsoft just said their game is better very publicly. Now Sony has to respond.

I think Sony had it coming honestly, and they sure as hell should have seen it coming. Now it is time to see how they respond. Did Microsoft catch them flat footed again? I am not sure, but I like to watch the brawl. I like to see the manufacturers face off. Rather then that eye averting crap.
