I thought the offering was fairly balanced on the hardcore side of the equation. Did anyone else feel like Microsoft was trying to make a point? It was action, mature, graphical glory. You could feel it in your bones that it had been built from the ground up for testosterone. That is what every single title was about.
I see nothing wrong with the offerings they presented. Two Halo titles, Crackdown, Forza, Splinter Cell, and that is basically what 360 owners wanted. Can you bitch about the fans getting what they wanted. I for one am a little disappointed that Crackdown did not get a release date. That does not mean it cannot release this year, but it feels like it could be a floater for Microsoft like Smash Brothers was for Nintendo.
What I am interested in is where Rare, Lionshead, and Mistwalker are. Along with the Southpark game. We know the first two are supposed to deliver games, and its hard to imagine that Mistwalker does not have a game, but perhaps they are saving that for later in the year.
