IMO Natal will be a commercial failure if they cant find a way for Halo, Gears, GTA, or MW2, to be played with it.

Not having any sort of controller for it sucks. Imagine a cover TPS like Gears using the Natal? Would be interesting... but without a controller/trigger... isnt possible.

It would work. You get a special gun with it, and a bit of waist high cover. So to use the chainsaw, you move the gun in a chainsawy way and make chainsawy noises, and then you can use something on the gun to change in game guns

So we basically got Left 4 Dead 2 for this year? That's almost the same as before E3, with the exception that now it's impossible to say they have many unannounced games. Well, of course they could have a few... But most of the ought to have been announced now, not later. It's not bad, it's just not spectacular or anything.

why does natal have be implemented with those hardcore games. I don't believe hardcore gaming is what they are going for. And it sure as hell would be much easier to do it than with the wii's tech. That motion control even with wii motion plus is way too inaccurate to implement efficiently in a hardcore game and achieve the comfort level those games enjoy with a conventional controller.

@ those people comparing natal to the ps eye.

That's just absurd, completely absurd. Slight upgrade!??? Perhaps the definition of slight is much more elusive on these forums than I thought. If the pseye was so amazing, why does sony have it hidden in the cellar like it's retarded bastard child. Right next to home, the cousin that came and never left.

Eye toy/ pseye was ALL EPIC FAIL.

@ dclkeel, it was not epic fail, there are quite a few PSEye games, and some people are getting quite excited about EyeToy, though I can't say I am....

Anyway, what makes you think that it has the precision to play an FPS, how would you aim?

I lol'd.

It is not that bad, but Natal is on a whole new level. There is nothing that could touch it. And Home was a failure. I can't believed people were hyped for this.

I think Natal could be a very nice addition for the Xbox360. It wont be a relpacement for the controller! Think about playing call of duty with your controller like a million times before, but you actually throw a grenade or use a knife.

Or a stealth game were you actually have to hide would be the shit.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

I never said it will have the precision, it's just way closer to it than the Wii's tech. But considering this is still being developed, I think it'll be close enough. However, I don't believe it will be implemented much for these core titles because core gamers don't generally want to play core titles that way.

Dude anything sony and eye was horrendous fail. I don't care if there were 200 titles for that nonsense, it wasn't innovative enough for developers to explot, it wasn't interesting enough for consumers to care. Those games don't sell, get talked about, get favorable reviews and rarely get made. Especially considering how long ago it was announced and eventually released. What the hell does sony have to show for it..............???

To be honest that lineup looks underhwelming. I can see PS3 having a much better lineup than Xbox 360 in the near future. And let's not even talk about the CRUSHING lineup that PC has.

Agreed, and the PC might even end up getting Splinter Cell: Conviction as a 2010 exclusive.

360 announced 2 solid years worth of line-ups and expanded feature sets for the console. It's going to be tough for either Sony or Nintendo to match.
