Eh, I'm with Torillian on this one. The beta will help sales, but I think you're overestimating them a bit.

GT5 will outsell Halo ODST.

So to answer your question, no Halo wont outsell all PS3 exclusives this christmas.

Any halo FPS shooter will sell butt loads...only GT5 has a chance.....maybe God of War 3 can come close...but until Bungie releases a critically and commercially unsuccessful Halo all the FPS Halo's will sell in the 5-8 million range, unless its straight up Halo 4, then probably 1o million.

I just don't see GT5 being released this year.  But if it is I would tend to agree with this statement, although ODST has a good chance at selling more than GT5 because of the disparage in install base.

I don't think you understood my opening post.  I am saying ODST will sell more than ALL of PS3's exclusives COMBINED this HOLIDAY season.

There is no way any one PS3 game not including GT5 will come close to ODST in sales this holiday.

I don't think GT5 is coming this year. Sounds like they are focusing on GT for PSP instead first.

Halo will outsell Uncharted 2 + GoW3 combined pretty easily I think. What else has Sony got?

Interessting.  I would like to arrange a bet.   Maybe not for any prize just for pride.

I say GT5 if released this year, (find out tommorw) Will outsell Halo ODST for its first 3 weeks. So after 3 weeks i think GT5 will be ahead of Halo ODSTs first 3 weeks.

Yea I guess.  I don't think I will get any pride out of it.  Just looked at first 3 weeks sales for halo 3 and gt4.  Halo 3 wins by a bit.

But back on topic, without GT5, ODST will be the number 1 selling exclusive this holiday season.

Halo fans are pretty rabid. Even if GT5 comes out, I think you will see Halo 3 ODST sell much faster. It's not called "Halo Nation" for nothing.
