lets see stats

what has SONY lost......nothing

MGS:Rising is multiplat

I'd say new PS3 exclusives.....not a single xbox 360 exclusive was announced....except for NATAL

Crackdown 2

Left 4 Dead 2

Dead Rising 2

Give credit where its due, MS had a great conference, Sony will have a hard act to follow considering a lot of there announcement has already been leaked.

Dead Rising 2 is not exclusive, I think you meant to say Forza 3 or Splinter Cell Conviction.

Well they absolutely need to show great games to win this years E3!
Valkyria Chronicles 2 would be a perfect start. Give me a gameplay video of FFXIII Versus, the Japanese release date and a GT5 release date.
It's too early for Resistance 3 and since the new R&C and Uncharted 2 were already shown they hopefully have some aces up the sleeves.
Small ingame vid of M.A.G would be nice and hopefully some nice new exclusive announcements. (KH3 for example)

Gears of War 3 multiplat would be required to put Sony back in the game, or a slim ps3....neither seem to be on the horizon however

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD

They've won the year already IMO...

With the PSP line-up, PSPGo, and the PS3 games already announced.

@colonelstubbs

yeah just like how FF13 multiplat killed Ps3 sales right?

stop overreacting, PS3 is still in the game

Focus in announcing new games that is a pure win for me.
GT 5 release date
TRICO
PS3 slim and a pricecut.
Persona 5, I really really want this.

hmmm, outcome doesn't look too good for Sony so far, but it should be better than the MS one, I still have my money on Nintendo this year.

Pretty much the same thing as I said about Nintendo. After watching MS' press conference and how it turned out especially Project Natal if it was just them in the conference and Microsoft all they would need to do now is show up.

Gamewise Microsoft didn't really show anything that wasn't known about before. Sony hasn't shown the totally awesome games that we know are coming out probably before the end of the year.

The best two games Microsoft showed were Modern Warfare 2 (will be on PS3 too) and Final Fantasy (the best version will be on PS3) and the PS3 has those games as well as boatload of other games that are just as good.

As far as having big time exclusives, Microsoft totally missed the boat on that this year unlike almost every other year.

None of those will save PS3. I'm sorry, but it's over for the PS3.

Microsoft really needed a Gears size game this year and they didn't get it.  Plus Alan Wake has been delayed to 2010 and it didn't look that good.   I guarantee Heavy Rain will be out this year.  Other than Gears 3, Microsoft needed FF Versus XIII to no longer be a PS3 exclusive in Japan and they even had Square on the stage at E3 and they couldn't get it.
