Square-Enix says a lot of things.

FF13 was supposed to be PS3-only.

Then FF13 wasn't supposed to begin development until the PS3 version was done. That was patently false as the 360 version clearly has been in development for some months now to be able to show a playable build like that.

FF13 Versus will be on the 360 too, book it.

nice perk for 360 owners if it comes to the states , before the ps3 version.

WOuld be funny if the game doesnt release on PS3 until 6 months after the 360 version releases in the west.. huge blow to the ps3 fans. Im sure it will happen as well, Square havent released any Playstation 3 games this generation.

If the XBox 360 version comes out even 2-3 months before the PS3 version because MS pays $$$ for it, the melt downs would be epic. I don't think Square-Enix would go *that* far though.

I think you are misunderstanding what they said... It was the MS conference, and they told when the game would be out on the 360. They didn't say anything about it being released first. I'm sure the release date is the exact same for the PS3 (except in japan).

I'm not into FF games, but it looks like their Sony versions fanbase is something SE can always count on, while MS versions ones are still unknown, so, while tryng to get another new and still unexploited market makes perfectly sense, pissing off its up until now faithful existent fans doesn't. SE will better treat everybody fairly.

If Square-Enix did that, then they would lose ALL credibility with the Playstation Fans. I mean bringing the game too the 360 started an uproar...but if it is timed exclusive to 360 in the states. I expect some riots.

Okay wiseguy, let me ask you a question.  When, where, and with whom was FFXIII announced?  I remember them showing the trailer with PS3 exclusive to JPN, and PS3/360 NA/EU.
