HISTORY IS MADE!

I like how MS is saying the same 'controller obstacle to gaming' logic that Nintendo used in 2006.

MGS hack and slash? Fail.

Fail fail fail.

I wouldn't say fail, but it would be disappointing if the game was just Ninja Gaiden with Raiden.

Wow...now a Kojima game can fail? And all it took was to be on the 360.

And I thought Kojima was a genius...I guess only on a PS3 game is he a genius

Why is everyone so negative?

Being in 2nd feels so much better than being in 3rd

That kid thing is interesting for the technological aspect, but just seems really weird.

Seriously, uncanny valley indeed

Predictions:Sales of Wii Fit will surpass the combined sales of the Grand Theft Auto franchiseLifetime sales of Wii will surpass the combined sales of the entire Playstation family of consoles by 12/31/2015 Wii hardware sales will surpass the total hardware sales of the PS2 by 12/31/2010 Wii will have 50% marketshare or more by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  It was a little over 48% only)Wii will surpass 45 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2008 (I was wrong!!  Nintendo Financials showed it fell slightly short of 45 million shipped by end of 2008)Wii will surpass 80 Million in lifetime sales by the end of 2009 (I was wrong!! Wii didn't even get to 70 Million)

The camera thing seems only be good for some minigames and browsing the menues.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

genius control, wii?... keep it!

Without buttons it won't be genius at all. Remember the racing demo where the acceleration was controlled by the "distance between your hands"?

Completely retarded for most genres IMO.

This. Needs something more than movement.

Yeah. This is the clear product of a technogeek mind (not insulting, since I'm a technogeek myself), without regard to practicality.

For example, will it be possible to have IR-like aiming with this system? Because that's one of my favourite features of the Wii Remote, and I don't think it's gonna work with this.

Even worse, how would you manage to do movement? You won't really be able to just walk or run.
