Forums - Sony - Sony to concentrate on GT PSP at E3, no GT5 talk from Yamauchi

do you mean all 3 consoles in Japan?

Don't waste your breath, Xen's been trolling PSP for quite some time...Possibly because he doesn't have it, and can't afford it. There was nothing logical in his laughable statement.

No, I mean the PSP anywhere BUT Japan.

Gran Turismo's biggest region is Europe. The PS3 could really benefit from a GT5 these holidays, but instead they put GT mobile out - that will get relatively weak sales all over because the PSP is probably the most pirate infested system on the planet with its atrocious software sales... especially in Europe.

The problem is not only GT Mobile, but all the other needless PSP effort that would do much better if directed at the PS3.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if that secret Capcom game is also for PSP, and we get a new GTA as well.

It wasn't so obvious in February when Koller first said it, but it's obvious now - Sony will concentrate on PSP at E3

I think Capcom will save their "secret" PSP game for the tokyo game show 09.

You know, after MH3 launch in Japan..... XD

It (PS3's market share) might hit 30%, but definently not more. ~ Neo

I dont see how showcasing both games would be a bad idea at all. PS3 needs GT5 more than PSP needs GT mobile.

Hmm, I think they need a GT game equally.

What's strange about this rumour though, is that surely Sony would want to showcase both versions at E3 since I assumed integration/connectivity between the two would be a key concern for Sony?

We'll see; I really hope E3 sees the PS3 version confirmed for Holidays 09. That's critical.

@Star Scream: I can afford a PS3, but not a PSP? now you're just trolling... me. It's not my problem that its inferior to the DS & PS3 in software profits (and software quality).

I would be very surprised if GT 5 was not playable at E3, this will almost certainly be its last E3 before release

@Xen
as long as PSP is selling in Japan (both HW and SW), it's worthy to invest money in PSP

They don't want someone asking question because they are going to surprise us.
