stupid internal server errors..
@cobreti chill.
I never said it didnt, I stated that sony deserves the respect as well.

I believe that nintendo deserves more credit than they are given.
2008 end of year predictions:
PS3: 22M
360: 25M
wii: 40M
NO it doesn't leo-j
you clearly said saved the video game industry.
Sony deserve credit for expanding it more.
I could answer the OP if I knew what gaming would be like without the NES.
I think Nintendo AND Sony deserve credit ^^, Nintendo saved it at a time, and Sony evolved it...
What are we considering "saving"?
Lets look at the numbers here:
NES:Approx 60 Million from life span of 83-90
C-64Approx 17 Million in a life span of 82-94
Sales wise it had more people playing it.
But that does not make a great system so just take it into consideration.
Also for those people saying Sony deserves credit they may have there fan boy goggles on as by the time the Playstation came out there was already a healthy market out there. Sony gets credit for bringing it to the masses in America.
That is all food for though my post wont make you change you mind if you do not want to.
| darthdevidem said: Without PS - EU wouldn't be so HUGE PS1 was the first console that CROSSED the 100 Million landmark Proving therefore It INCREASED the market more than ninty ever did But yeah they did save the industry one, kudos to them for that |
Fixed.
Sony didn't make videogames 3d.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

You kids make me laugh. Before spouting out your assumed history, go ask someone old enough to remember it first hand.
Nintendo saved the entire video game industry. Refuting that statement is futile. I don't care how much you hate it, how much you 'think' it's wrong, it's absolute and complete FACT.
The rEVOLution is not being televised
