I think Smash Bros. DS may happen now, Nintendo needs another big hitter DS title, but whether that's at E3 ... who knows.

Does any of you really want a smash bros game on DS?I've thought it over befor and I don't want it.I love smash bros,I've owned every iteration,its my best fighting game.With the DS limited capabilities,the quality of the game just wouldn't be good enough.They'd have to cut down the character roster from Brawl.Even if they don't,they'll definitely have 2 cut down a lot of items and stages,not to mention the stage builder.A lot of things are going on @ d same time in a typical match-the stage is transforming while 4 fighters and an assist trophy or pokemon slug it out,while a barrel rolls somewhere and there's a mine planted,waiting for some1 to step on it.
Can the DS take all that?What about the VOs?Since the N64 could handle the original smash bros,I know the DS can do better but content wise,it would not be satisfactory to some1 who already owns brawl,which i'm sure 90% of nintendo hardcore do.The graphics would be less than Melee's dated graphics.Best if they cell shade everybody.And smash is so much more fun with 3 peeps 2 play with.If twas on DS,I bet each player would have 2 have his own catridge 4 d multiplayer.The 2 player co-op for story mode & challenges would also be gone,or even if its there,the problem of findin some1 else with a DS and a catridge.....
Do you know the worst part of it all?If they made this game,fool that I am,I would still buy it!I'd prefer Viewtiful Joe 3 to be announced instead of this.All ur other predictions coming true(especially if the new wii IP is a hardcore game) would make nintendo's E3 the best simply because Zelda wii is shown.Hopefully,the new IP is a hardcore game & the new Mario is Mario Party 9 with M+.Its too soon 4 a new mario adventure.I don't even have galaxy or paper m yet.

lol you're wrong. It would just be like Mario Kart DS. A few less  characters you can share games like Mario Kart DS, Wifi plus Mic.
