I think Bionic Commando would have sold better on Wii...
MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

Who admits that there are more Mature gamers on the HD consoles?
The answer to that is the reason why MadWorld would have better chances of selling better on the HD consoles. It can sell decent on the Wii but I am just saying.

As someone already mentioned earlier in the thread, that would be the reason why MadWorld could do even worse since there are more choices and MadWorld is not minstream.
If your reasoning is true, why Bionic Commando didn't have good first week sale on HD consoles?

I said chances... I didnt say it will. But I still think Mature games have a better chance of selling on PS360. Look at L4D a new IP. Look at Dead Space. All these brand new IPs had amazing opening weeks. I just wish Wii could have amazing sales of these quality third party games so more of them would come over. Though this year seems to prove me wrong.

Well obviously it would have.
Wii + PS3 + 360 > Wii
I meant as in an exclusive on any of the HD consoles.
Nope. It would have sold the same or less on PS360.
Niche titles will have niche results.
Plus, without the controls the game is just not as fun, so it might have actually sold less.
Err, Ninja Gaiden2( a somewhat big sequel) failed to break a million copies sold, so maybe theres no set formula for success

Well there you go that was the exact definition of casual before this gen. Many PS2 owners only owned Pro Evolution and would buy it every single year when the new version was released. Many of those folk have now graduated to the PS3 and do the same. Buy Pro Evo 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and nothing else. Or only GT1, GT2, GT3, GT4. Or only GTA1, GTA2, GTA3, etc. However, this gen the definition of casual changed. It was changed by the HD fanboys who were looking for a way to put down the sales of Wii. So GTA froma super casual game (which is why it sold so much - and mostly to teenage boys who wanted to feel cool) suddenly this gen became the definition of hard core since that game and other similar games were not going to be on Wii. Now HD fanboys can say hardcore games don't sell on Wii despite the fact Zelda and Brawl are a million times more hardcore than Pro Evo, GTA, COD, etc.

The closest game in 360 or PS3 , Afro samurai, sold much worse, half than Madworld. And it costed more to make.I think Platinum and Sega know better than some biased journalists, after all wii does have quite a big mature oriented playerbase. Do you think is illogic that some adults might also like the idea of motion controls?i think not.this game sales prove it.
