As we approach E3, the number of leaks and hints is really taking away from the awesomeness of the actual event. There aren't going to be any bombshells left! The only surprise is going to be some guy on stage playing paddle ball........damn it! I ruined the surprise for that too!!
maybe, i think the psp metal gear game was intentional, so that the ps3 mgs game could have more of the spot light.

Perhaps they are anticipating big MS and Nintendo announcements, so considering they go last, this is to steal a bit of the impact those announcements from MS and Nintendo could have.
A little bit like the pre E3 announcement of the Motion Plus last year from Nintendo's side, just some damage control before it actually happens. Of course Sony will announce at least 1 new game, 100% sure.

Agreed. They couldve made a really big impact at E3 by announcing PSPgo/PS3slim and Trico there. I severely doubt they got anything bigger.

Because now the MG game AND the new PSP are both completely irrelivant "announcements" and E3, but they will take up a large amount of time in their conference. Totally anticlimatic, and ruination of big announcements, by saying them early.
That is why. It might make Sony lose E3, if their big announcement is the new PSP, lol.

So, they wanted to lose E3 in order to focus on old announcements, and market their games? Makes no sense to me, but Sony is a strange one. Who knows how their minds work.
MS, at least, knows that those 5 minutes of applause are the best part of the show, and taking it away from MS fans....would suck.

It still will, as those things will still be "announced." The only difference, is now, those sections will be boring, and not matter.

well if you believe the MS counterpart rumor (the one that forza3 and alan wake are MS's big game announcements) i'd call that a lot more anti-climatic.
man,.. E3 just can't come soon enough.
