Whats so great about your favorite series/game?

Zelda is just great to certain people like me. =P

You're probably not the only one, but likely the only Nintendo fan. Mario and Zelda have dedicated teams so they're probably not holding back development of Kirby/Starfox etc. They may however, be pushing back the release dates. Not a big deal though, the games are still coming.

yes you are the only one, i mean who doesn't want a zelda to be announced? We (Nintendo fans) are begging nintendo to give us one, other console fans either get hyped for it or don't care about it, but nobody DOESN'T want it!

right now my avy is of the Spirit Tracks link, if there's a new Zelda Wii, I'm changing to that.

I'd have to agree about Mario, I still have yet to play SMG. As for Zelda, since it was a cross port from GC, it would be nice to see the full potential of the Wii tech plus Motion+ attacking. Any Zelda fan would pretty much run out for such a game right now.

For me, its the story, plus the genre. I'm a big adventure game person, and also very big into fantasy/medieval settings. This is why the Final Fantasy series pissed me off - addition of things like Airships, etc and technology aspects don't really mesh well into the fantasy setting well for me.

Plus Link is one of my favorite all time characters. Its sort of like Die Hard fans - people who like John McClain (Bruce Willis) like to see what new things happen to him.

Your question is like asking what's so great about Metal Gear Solid, or Halo, or God of War, etc. You're either into it or not.

I would love to see kid icarus, piloit wings and star fox (as long as they keep star fox of the ground). But, i won't complain about a new zelda and mario. Just keep the dry spells between good nintendo games down to a minium.

since the wii was out, i have been waiting for a new star fox, new f-zero and a new kirby
I really hope they gonna do a wii games of those franchise, not like metroid who didn't come out on the n64.

Since TP was in essence a GC port, with better bow controls, I would like to see a new Zelda made from the ground up for Wii.

But I would also like if that wasn't the extent of the big first party showings.

I REALLY want to see (if its real) the long-rumored new Kid Icarus game, and I would love a WM+ Mario Golf game to be shown, that would be sweet.
