My list shows you EA will support the 360 first? Well that was the objective. If a company makes 10x more money on system A than system B. That would explain the title of this thread no?

Face the facts, while the Wii systems are selling crazy well and so are the 1st party software releases. 3rd party software is a different story.

Missing facts:

1. Third party games for the Wii have almost universally been late ports or shit.

2. Madden Wii got much worse reviews than Madden 360.

3. Tiger Woods 07 sold a ton of units on the Wii, relatively, but it was also released less than 6 months ago.  That would definitely cut into 08's sales.

obviously being sports isn't the issue on the wii, tiger woods 07 did nicely, and The Bigs apparently sold best, though only by a small margin, on the Wii regardless of it's poor reviews
EA just doesn't know what to do with the wii yet, maybe metal of honor heroes will turn out well

This. For some reason I'll never be able to fathom, people expect lazy ports and/or absolute crap to sell as well on the Wii as major graphical and technical upgrades to long-running sports franchises do on the 360 and PS3.

Now, if EA would wise up and upgrade the graphics and tech on whatever slapdash PS2 ports with waggle they're putting on the Wii, and the games STILL didn't sell well, then we might have a case for EA rightfully ignoring the system.

There was some support for the wii from EA at launch, but just above minimal. Much as HappySqurriel stated... you can't ratchet up support in a few months after you realize minimal support isn't enough... expect to see better support in 08 and 09 from EA.

I thought SSX Blur sold well. And who knows how MySims will do.

Sports titles haven't sold well, probably because people already have WiiSports which is likely more fun for them. Plus, the other versions are in HD, so if you had to pick one EA Sports game, it'd probably be the 360 or PS3 version...
