Forums - Sony - How is the PSP Go a megaton?

Is the PSP GO the PSP 2 or just an update of the existing PSP with the same graphics and hardware (like the DSi)

If this is the megaton, Sony's E3 will be horrible. Especially if M$ reveal this rumoured Zune HD which is rumoured to be using Tegra Hardware. Are Sony giving up?

...........................you have to be fucking kidding me

He wouldn't be selnor if he didn't say things like that lol "especialy if M$ reveal this rumoured Zune HD"  , Self-Deception is such a terrible thing.

im pretty sure this and the PS3 slim were supposed to be sonys major announcemnt at E3

So much negativity in this thread. By offering downloadable titles, Sony is not crippling anything.. they are expanding. I can buy a game "on the go" and play it right away without a loud oversized handheld with terrible battery power sitting in my hands.

For all the naysayers, there is a lot we still don't know
I am very excited Sony did this. Its bold.
It may have a touch screen.
It may have improved graphical capabilities. probably not though.
And there may be a way to transfer UMD's onto it.
(if not there is still the 3000 until they figure it out)

but we do know how nice and small it is
we know it has 16 gig built in, (so nice)
and we know it has bluetooth.

It is way more than just another hardware iteration.

This will test the waters for what will eventually become the future of all gaming. Downloads.

It would be epic if they could work out rentable PSP titles through the store.

This is no megaton, but it is huge. It's not every day a new system is announced.
Everyone should stop being so closed minded towards a positive technological leap in the PSP architecture.

Does it have an SD card-like slot?

Because in 16GB you can only store about 20 games.

@ keep the change, yep, apparently a memory stick micro slot, I looked it up and you can get an 8GB card on amazon uk for £20

Well, it looks like Sony still has some money to develop and push to the market a new hardware. The fact itself is REAL megaton, isn't it? :)

^^its still a megaton b/c a lot of people didnt see this coming

Plenty of people saw this coming.

A lot of people are talking about not being able to play there current games on this new system. which made me think maybe its not an upgrade for those people its clearly made to get new people owning a PSP.
OR
Maybe Sony will do like a trade in deal where you send in your UMD and you get a code to download that game for free. Just a thought
