Forums - Microsoft - Valkyrie Chronicles for the 360 is impossible?

No it's completely possible from a technical standpoint, but logically it wouldn't make much sense.
Think Eternal Sonata on PS3, although the X360 sales for that game were pretty poo too.

Please, explain me why we don't have this game in the 360.

The 360 has Operation Darkness.  Valk. Chronicles is a title that would be of more appeal to Japanese players then in the west.  The PS3 has sold more there.  It makes sense for it to remain on the PS3.

Do you really think that's a fair trade off?

^- Omg...didn't notice that... Such blasphemy...

I really thought Valkyria Chronicles sold much worse, but half a million for a niche genre seems great.

My guess the only reason the 360 doesn't have a port is because they assume it wouldn't be cost effective to port over a year old game or Sony has some kind of deal with Sega and Valkyria, like most have stated.

Probably cos not a lot people would buy it.

Sorry but the game looks totally generic imo

A watercolour SRPG with guns, told through a storybook, set in a fictional rendition of World War II, is generic?

Could you please name one other game that fits that description?

Calling VC generic is like calling Quantum Theory innovative (Gears of War + Demons)
