hatmoza, what?

I disagree with FF7 being bad, but Kasz is one fo the few non-biased multi console owners here.

Yea sure. He hated a game so much yet he owned a couple of copies..........contradiction anyone?!

I'm retreating from the flame.

I bought a PS1 for FF7.  Bought FF7 the same time i had the system.  Hated it.  Gave it to one of my friends eric who was moving.

Thought I may of been hard on it just for not being as good as the last ones after playing cames like Front Mission 3 and Final Fantasy Tactics so i got a second copy.  Still didn't like it gave it to another friend Mat.

Found out a LOT of people liked it so i decided to give it a third try.  My friend Mat had sold his console and all his games a while ago since he was broke so I couldn't borrow it back.  Also one of the games i lent him got sold i believe.

Or perhaps that was another friend of mine who sold a game i lent them with their system... either way.

I bought a "Greatest Hits" copy.  Beat it this time...  still thought it was bad.  Honestly I don't even know what happened to this one.  I assume I gave it away to someone since it's not with the rest of my stuff.

The i was in a local chain that was like a Gamestop but it focused on CD sales.  They had a copy for like 15 bucks.  Having been in Funco land a day or two  before and seeing they were selling it for 70+ I figured "Ah what the hell.  I'll buy it one more time.  Give it one last shot then trade it in and make some money."  After that i brought the paper with me that they give you with game prices on it... never found anything good.  Ended up buying Super Dodgeball from them for $15 though.

I was haning out with my friend Brett later that week and we were talking about the Final Fantasy games and 6 and 7 were his favorites.  Being the nice guy I am I figured i'd just give him the copy i had.

Heck i'll probably buy it on PSN for one last time for the hell of it.

It's not really that much of a steal, the remake will be out by christmas!!!

Please FFVII isn't worth shit against old Nes,Snes,Mega drive Etc Etc, my brother know he owns atleast 40.000$ +  worth of old games.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Is the game rare in the US or something?

Had several copies sitting in my local gamstation for a few months now. £3 each. They don't seem to be shifting.

Damn, do you still have them?

@kylie
they go for about 100$ or so in the US. Not the greatest hits version, but the original. A mint quality one should go for about 150-200$

@Kaz - I hope you learned your lesson. If you don't like it the first time, chances are very low that you'll like it after that. At least that's how I work. With a few exceptions.

Nope.  Valkria Chronicles is awesome... and I still hold hope it'll get a super robot wars game.  Eventually.  Plus it seemed to have gotten another SRPG announcement i'm forgetting at the moment that looked cool.
