Forums - Microsoft - Are there any good 3rd party controllers?

What I mean is, are there any good third party controllers with an excellent D-pad?

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... Everyone ignored your thread lol, so apparently no.

Have you tried the trick with slicing off some plastic off the original D-pad with a knife?

This one looks like it has a much better d-pad.

I got that MadCatz controller (it's exactly the same, but mine says Gamestop). It's wired, but for a while, the d-pad made it my weapon of choice in Street Fighter HD and Street Fighter 4. The triggers feel flimsy, though and the analog sticks are loose. And, I hate to say it, but I think I wore the d-pad out.

So, no. There are no good alternatives for 360 d-pad lovers. If you find one (aside from the one available in japan), let me know. I've been looking, too.

^^^Yeah, but good luck finding one. No stores have them in stock and the online price is insane!

And then, I remembered Joytech's awesome looking d-pad for their 360 controller!! aaaaaaaand.....it sucks. I read the reviews, and NOBODY likes that thing. If anyone ever makes a 360 pad with a good d-pad, I'm buying it. I don't care if it weighs 10 pounds and gives me cancer.
