Forums - Nintendo - I don't care what anyone says the Gamecube was amazing.

Great console with one of the best controllers ever. I had lots of fun with the Gamecube.

I enjoyed GC a lot, i was not into gaming that much at the time therefore i never had problems with lack of games in that period, never owned a PS2 as well. It had Fire Emblem, Zelda and Resident Evil my favorite gaming series ever great console i also really liked its shape and controller.

I concur.
The GC had MANY amazing games, and got me into gaming from once a week to a daily basis.

I had a Gamecube from near-launch (december 2001), but never really played it much. My life was consumed by Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds on the PC for 3 years. Also, games like Rainbow Six 3 and The Battle for Middle Earth made sure that I didn't turn on my Gamecube for almost years at a time.

Though now it's hard to find a PC game that's as addictive as the ones from my childhood and now I'm starting to play a lot of Gamecube games that I missed. =D

Who ever said it wasn't?

I second this!

And proud member of the Mega Mario Movement!

People will be saying the same thing about the PS3 in about 5 years or so.

On topic, yes, even though the cube was 3rd place it was THE best... UNTIL i got a PS2... of course thats only natural.

the gamecube had alot of problems. they lost Rare and they didn't have any good Star Fox.

but ssm and pikmin almost made up for it

See, I loved Starfox Adventures. It was like Zelda but with Starfox characters. And the Namco Starfox was also awesome, the option of ground missions and air missions was sweet. Lots of great local multiplayer. Now you make me want to play this game again.

I should have rather bought a Gamecube instead of the Xbox. :(

Take a look at my photos on flickr

Yea the gamecube was a great system
