It was a very smart move by both companies as long as they make a quality product.

I dont know many people that bought Crackdown (because of halo 3 beta or because they wanted the game) and were dissapointed. therefore its a smart way to launch a new IP.

Crackdown 2 will have massice sales, without Halos help.

Fanboys on all sides are always going to make absurd comments that they will not retract or simply pretend they never existed in the face of damning evidence.

I imagine many of the '360 flamers' would throw their 'only an interactive movie' comments out the window were MGS4 to appear on the green box, as the once terrible game is added to their collection.

I don't think you'll get an addmission of hypocricy from any poster.

And there are probably 360 fans that think Crackdown only sold because of the Halo 3 demo.  Doesn't mean that PS3 fanboys who claim that are now right.
