   Front Mission Evolved is a third person shooter game with giant robots, developed by a western studio. The game will feature heavy emphasize on online modes and there is a couple of screenshots on the site.

Front Mission series is supposed to be dead and long forgotten, anyway. So I dont mind this new direction. Giant robot battles in online might actually be fun.

The screenshots remind me of the crappy Atlus Mech game (i forget the name)

Front Mission has finally been given justice, Ari.

Out of all the SRPG's I played, it's the worst... but it could make for a terrific mecha game. Hopefully the fact that the developers aren't Japanese won't kill it. Japan does have lots of experience with mecha action games, after all... unlike the west, with only long dead mechwarrior.
