They could still announce it for september and sell the old ones $30 off. That would definitely clear the shelves by then... Just like they did with the 60GB after the 40GB was relaeased at the lower price.

PSN ID: T_Gears

End of 2009 ltd sales:

Wii = 67-68m

X360 = 38-39m

PS3 = 34-35m

Prediction: The PS3 will surpass the 360 on weekly sales after it drops to $299 on all regular weeks (no big releases).

I thought it was confirmed that the UMD-less PSP was fake and that PSP-Go! was some media pack or add-on for the PSP?

It pretty much was, though this Go! thing was pretty old anyway. Well, at least the name was; been on Store for quite a while now. Still, this Go! could just be the name they've given a new PSP model despite not being the actual name: they could simply be using the wrong name but have the right information.

PSP Go! could be a good name, since it carries into an already existing brand. This here will simply be the PSP to get if you want to use all these systems.

And this is how Sony wins E3.

actually this is how you lose it. Introducing a slim PS3 is a complete waste for me as I already own one and won't buy a new one. The same can be said for PSP owners, as they already have the hardware. If they want to "win" E3 they need to announce new software or periphrials coming to their platform, not stuff I already know about.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Firstly, didn't the OP say that the slim wasn't coming to E3, and many PSP owners (including myself) would buy a new a much better PSP (I am currently on the 2000). Anyway, we know that they have UAT, RCaCiT, MAG, GOWIII to show, but the big question mark is whether we will see games like Gran Turismo 5 there, that would be big

Anyway, winning E3 is about who had the most impressive stuff on show, and I think a slimline PS3 would be pretty impressive

Completely agree with him, nothing really wins E3 better than games or new accessories. Plus the fact that the PS3 Slim isn't even likely to make a show at E3 then how is that a win for Sony?

I disagree with this. The way I see it, Sony is already winning E3 with the titles we know about. For MS to beat Sony's current lineup they need to drop a MEGATON along the lines of a GTA5, MGS5 exclusive (which is virtually impossible). Bottom line MS cannot defeat their own showing from last year.

Now if Nintendo drops a Zelda or somthing, many people will say that's an autowin for Ninty. I kinda disagree that one game is going to outshine an entire lineup. Even if it does though that's still great news for me because I have a Wii.

If Nintendo shows 6 brand new games that gamers love, while Sony shows 6 games that we already know about + revised hardware which I don't need, I'd say Nintendo won every time. You can swap the companies out with whoever you like, as new content is always more important.

If Nintendo shows The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks as their main game, then their show was a waste as I already know about it. Sure I'd love some more information, but meh if I don't get any. They should mention it and tell us a release date and maybe a few new screens, but it shouldn't be the focus.

I disagree.. but mostly because it's nintendo games. I do have a wii but frankly i find the games boring in general. That includes nintendos first party offerings :p

Who wins e3 will always be subjective, hence we would never be able to fully agree and any topic regarding this will always be filled with people from every "camp" saying that their console won while a few "neutral" people who would also be biased, not towards the console maybe, but towards the gametypes they like, would proclaim them to be the ones with the true knowledge of who is the victor because of them being "non biased."

It's just how it is :p
