still can't decide between this and re5 i can only get one right now and can't decide :(

What kind of games do you like?

Reasonable response right out of the gate...  kudos.

Advice: try the demo of both.  I didn't like RE5 at first, but the co-op hooked me.  inFAMOUS had me pumped, and I've cooled to it a bit.  You really need to try them and see what grabs you.

well i've played both demos and liked them both equally and i prefer shooters so i might get re5 first then

Solid choice for good reasons.

@axumblade: Yeah, the lcok on mechanic in TFU was pretty annoying, but it definitely has far more variety and a better story than inFamous...  Then again, I'm a bit of a Star Wars geek, so there's some bias there.  TFU was glitchier than InF is, but it's dissapointing that InF is as glitchy as it is.  Is it so hard to get these games to play properly?

heh, Im on the same boat. I played it for like 6-7 hrs today....I don't do that for every game. Anyways, I'm a little disappointed, I didn't get a couple of blast shards that looks like I won't be able to get back to.

@leo-J

breathe man, don't let the trolls get to u. U know that he's wrong, hell, more than likely he knows he's wrong (and trolling), y play into his hands?

Don't worry. You can go back and revisit any of the islands to get any blast shards that you missed.

i played the demo. it was fun.

Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^

The game is awesome. The graphics are a little disappointing, but it is just great fun. I've unlocked the grinding, so I can now get around quickly. I'm taking a break now, but I will crack on with it later

Metacritic:

Infamous - 85%

Fallout 3 - 93%

If the roles were reversed, Infamous was multiplatform while Fallout 3 was PS3 xclusive, u'd be bashing Infamous as a Crackdown-clone while praising Fallout 3 as one of the truly greatest sand-box games of all time.

ugh. infamous controls are way better than crackdown. IMO.

@TheSteve - I only had a problem with infamous once and that's because my ps3 froze (which it had saved right before I ended up restarting apparently.

I'm constantly missing out on experience points because enemies get embedded in the environment, and I was dragged across town by a car I'd apparently decided (or rather, Cole had) to attempt to duck and cover by while it was moving.  Even when it stopped, attempting to move away from it would repeatedly "click" me back to it until it was destroyed by a grenade or something.  I've only played for a few hours, and there's been a number of distracting (though not quite game breaking) glitches.  My only real complaint, since I wasn't expecting all that much more than a decent, non-licensed superhero game.

Things I'd like to see, though, since other games have them: other outfits, some customization

The more open and expansive a game is, the more prone it is to glitiching. You know this:

There are loads of glitches, but it is just incredibly fun
