So how far is this live-zune thing goina reach?  Will i be able to play xbox live games on it?  what other possiblilities concerning live could their be?

I want this. HD output (w/dock), touch screen, OLED... I am sold... Too bad for MS I am broke, have no job, and will be leaving for law school in a few weeks.

I really do like this new Zune.

XNA is definitely going to be available for it, since it is now.  But they will definitely add an API to XNA for dealing with touch screens, which probably, not incidentily, will be usable with Windows 7 as well.  Arcade games currently on the Arcade will most likely not be playable without some sort of patch.  At least for the most part, simple games like Uno and such could be available.  I would expect from here on out to be some overlap between Zune HD and 360 compatible games.

Yummy will purchase if this comes to EU and somone holds a gun to my head. How is one going to play XBLA games on that thing?

yup if this comes to EU I be buying it cause I need a new mp3 player.. just hope the price will be right.

lol it's funny how people are praising apple Iphone... when it has been proven many times as not being the best player for the buck out there... so yeah stick with your Iphone... I'll stick with my old archos 7 still pounding any apple MP3 players out there so far.... but that zune looks interesting when we'll have the spec I might give it a try
