You are kidding me right?

Nope. Im just posting a follow up to the dozens of threads that were made on VGC 1.0 about how the Xbox 360 would be replaced in November 2009. xD

Oh, and yes im joking.

i think it would be a colossal mistake to release a new console anytime soon. the economy can't sustain it, and developers are still learning how to make next gen games for this generation.

i don't know about the rest of you, but i am not yet ready to hang up my consoles to try to play a buggy new madden.

perhaps the xbox has nowhere else to go but the closet, but sony is still putting out games that push the boundaries, so i say wait.

RIP Xbox 360, your 4 years are up! I'm looking forward to the next 4 years with the new Xbox!

Well MS didn't make them to last long in the beginning. And MS killed the original so they can mainly focus on the 360.

Hmm you might be right. I don't know anyone whos 360 has lasted longer then 2 years. Literally. A friend of mine's Elite just got the red ring. He actually managed to keep it a secret for a week (he didn't want me to know since I warned him about the the system failure). He finally confessed yesterday but blamed it on the German porn he had been watching on it.

Of my three friends who bought 360, he was the only one to have not gotten RROD.

I would like to take the time to Thank the Xbox 360 for all it's achievements during it's life time...

Halo 3 proved people preferred replay value over graphical bench marks....
Gears of War proved that one system can have two killer apps.....

And now to thank those that stood by the Xbox during trying times...

I know this is tongue in cheek, but it does seem to me that X360 is losing steam. E3 and more exclusive games can't come soon enough.
