Perhaps the reasoning behind this all is because they are comparing the systems on a yearly basis. We know a lot of PSP games are coming out. We don't know quite as many DS games coming out as of right now but the PSP has been getting high profile game after high profile game being announced for it. I'm not saying the DS has a shortage of games coming out though but there have been a lot of PSP games announced.


The DS has gotten tons of great games this year. If you actually follow it on websites like IGN you'll see that there has been some weeks where it will get like 5 games with scores of 8+. I don't know what big games the PSP has gotten this year, and don't say its future outshines the DS's because DS has plenty of great games coming. Tons of RPGs.



Support good third party games on wii. Buy games like house of the dead overkill, de blob, madworld, the conduit and boom blox.

Do people really need to be this harsh to the PSP? I mean C'mon its almost a tie in a tech competition, big deal.
Anyway the PSP has a lot better library than people think.

The PSP has a ton of features but it could be a fantastic GPS. Sony needs to get on that.

"GAME LIBRARY PSP= 3.3 DSI= 3.7"

Maybe I have completely different taste than the CNet folks because I'd rate them differently. Maybe PSP = 2.7 DSi= 4.1

If the PSP had a fantastic GPS and a game library much more to my liking (like 8 games I am highly excited about this year instead of 2) I'd probably buy it.

What I don't understand is the low score on the game library of the DS, it's like wth?  A ton more games and many quality titles only makes it .4 higher then the PSP?  I love my PSP as well as my DS but it's no contest on library I could pick a new game each day on DS and be good for at least a couple of years :P

well neither does gameplay and game library 

but if you think that these bullshits that work at cnet arent completly bias for the psp your crazy.

i mean wtf.. ds has a 10/5.

and the psp being so close to it?

ptchh psp games  are crap when compared to NDS's

I can agree with you to an extent.. but I have to admit I do use my psp more than my ds thanks to its multimeda features..

 

As for the games, its recently started to really build a nice line up (im not talking about games that arent out yet), and it has the best line up out of any game system this year thus far.. but that may be subjective.

I think the PSP has some very good games, like for example Locoroco 2 is a fantastic game, and so is Ratchet and clank Size matters, two games I havent bought sadly, but I have played them.
