Forums - Gaming - Why restrict yourself to one console?

Primarily time, secondarily money.

Also i a good mate of mine buys every system and game under the sun because he loves games and never plays them because he doesn't have the time. The upshot of this is when i do actually have the time to try play through MGSIV or Gears of War II he'll be more than happy to lend them to me : )

I am waiting for the ps3 slim, so I will have all the 3 systems.

Money.

It's just that simple.

Food moneyhatted my Wii exclusivity.

I don't have much of a gaming budget, certainly not enough to cover all the must have Wii games. I can play a PS3 and a 360 for free and it's only a 20 second walk down the corridoor

One PS3 costs me as much as eight Wii games or nearly seven 360 games.

I can easily think of that many games I want but can't afford.

And one 360 cost me 7 360 games (if you include tax) and 8 Wii games...what're you getting at?

OT: Most restrict themselves to one because t3h PS3 iz DOOMZ, so there's no point getting; RRoD; or lack of third party games that they care about

He's getting at the fact that he already owns a Wii and a 360.

I'm not "getting at" anything at all. I'm saying plainly that it's a value comparison: a PS3 vs. that many games is not a contest.

No money. No room.

At some point in the future the goal is to buy or build some sort of shelves with compartments perfectly shaped for every console I have, with all the wires somehow organized in the back. And when I can afford it some day, I'm gonna go pick up a couple pre-NES consoles, a Sega CD for Night Trap, and a PS2 for Katamari, and maybe some other cheaper older stuff.
