I'm still trying to figure out why an imaginery joystick or a gun would be easier to operate than an actual model though.

Does nothing for the ease of use though, and judging by the amount of Wii 3rd party crappy plastic peripherials, people don't mind paying for those (even though for most of them you need the faintest of imaginations to do a better job).
Not interested in the camera. This will be a major part of the MS E3 conference, but lets hope for something good in the actual game arena.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.
While I expect Microsoft to have something with motion control at E3, this article is not a confirmation, as it is "citing sources close to Microsoft".
Thats not a Microsoft confirmation.

Fair point and taken but the Sunday Times normally will not cover something without substance which makes me beleive its gonna happen.

I don't think this will be an issue since they rely mostly on third party games. As has been pointed out many times on the interwebz. |
Yes, but if they start touching games like Mass Effect or Gears of War, I will not be happy
I don't think, the camera would be as successful as eyetoy on the PS2. The casual gamers for the 360 and PS2 are different. Only those who have played eyetoy before will be picking this up.
Problem with Sony is that they were lax in supporting their eyetoy. Games such as Heavy Rain can heavily benefit from this piece of hardware.
This article is the final straw for Sony.
Not because MS is going to have Camera Control, but because apparently nobody in the media or online communities cares enough about Sony to remember that they already had this. It was called the EyeToy, or the Playstation Eye, for the PS2 and PS3, respectively.
Apparently "Microsoft might be stealing last gen Sony tech" isn't as good a headline as "NINTENDO DOOMED! MICROSOFT INVENTS MAGIC PICTURE-TAKING BOX"
Wii has more 20 million sellers than PS3 has 5 million sellers.
