Yup. Since PS3 fans are older then 360 fan's in general who's to say there less likely to have had a NES or SNES back in the day.

I see a lot more Ex Sega fans supporting the 360.

I'm sure you heard this before and that it was written some 5 billion times on the internet. All three company's are competing for the same market. Nintendo just came out of nowhere and blitzed everyone with a new tactic. The PS2 generation was won by the casuals. Take a hint. Sony and Microsoft missed out and are now rolling with the hardcore propaganda to justify their console to their fans/buyers. Why do you think you have this in your sig: PLAYSTATION3 is the future...NOW!!!...B_E_L_E_A_V_E!!!.     ......And now i'm wondering why i bothered to write this. You know what: Nevermind. Just believe what you want.   

Nintendo fans can be as rabid and uncivilized as the fans of the other two camps...esp. during the PS2/Gamecube era...


I believe it really has to do with the maturity of the people who talk on the internet...if you are not mature and responsible with what you say, it doesn't matter what console you support....you are still as much of a douchebag as the next fanboy.

I think you're ignoring the ugly side of Nintendo fans. And trust me, it's ugly.

I don't think it'll be that much of a problem. If anything, we should gain in terms of civilized content, as the market re-orients itself around Nintendo, and many of the sticking points that create so much ugliness around here (the daily articles about why Nintendo is killing gaming, and the angry posts about why Wii isn't getting Multiplat X) should more or less dissolve

Once the "hardcore" gamers get used to a world where Nintendo is worth more than the one Mario or Zelda game a year, it should all get more pleasant. Once the gaming media alters itself to reflect the larger audience, and once the Nintendo platform de jure is given equal attention by 3rd parties, the ugliness should be minimized, and we can go back to discussing games, and not philosophy

Oh, you meant the fans by Nintendo, MS , Sony? Then your comments are quite relevant and i redraw my comments. Next time you should mention Nintendo's fans, MS fans, etc. Sorry about the mistake.
