Thinking more about it, is there any significance to the timers dates and length?

1st timer: 18th thru 21st (4 days or 96 hours)
2nd timer: 22nd thru 26th (5 days or 120 hours)
3rd timer: 27th thru 29th (3 days or 72 hours)
4th timer: 30th to June 1 (1 day or 24 hours)

Total days: 13
Total Hours: 312

Possible but they would risk credibility if they were proven wrong. It is also not unusual for a magazine to get exclusive coverage of a certain event/game before other publications.

Lords of Shadow is being developed by a completely different studio. Most likely Kojima signed on as a producer for this game and is overseeing it, but it's completely different from the game that will be revealed by the countdown timer which is being developed by Kojima Productions.
