Well I was playing Red Alert 3 and I noticed you can invite friends via the XMB like in Resi 5. I went to view someone's profile and noticed a new button:

And when I clicked it this came up, it seems to be options for the game you are currently playing that can be used on the friends list (it says "Invite to game")

It's strange that Sony never show off features like this, and even more so that so many developers don't use this feature!

Wow, that'd be so much better than the invite that is implemented for games like SF IV

I would have to guess Sony might wait till they have a game to market this feature with

you can send invites to people on XBL when they are playing the same game as you or even send them invites to games when they are playing other games or send them an invite while they are at the dashboard and have no game in the tray

Why do you refer to the 360 in a Sony Discussion? There is no comparaison to make here.

It's the norm in any pro ps3 board better to be surprised when there's no reference to the 360.
