It's better to ignore someone with whom you habitually argue than to engage in habitual flame wars. It's a lot simpler way of being able to keep yourself civil.
There are merits to this feature.

This should be incorporated into the website code. It is a BRILLIANT feature in my opnion. why hasn't it been done before? i can't imagune a reason for not adding it as a feature :/
