Too true. I doubt I'll ever use it, myself, for similar reasons... but I like having the option.

Sure you can. Just ban all of the people who normally actually say intelligent things stay on topic. It should make it a lot easier to find the trolling people if you ignore all the other mods and some of the more prominant posters that don't flame normally. I mean it would kill conversation but then people around here would fear your wraith.
