Yea I dont know why ppl are complaining about the side scrolling. I have 19 inch monitor wide screen. Looks fine and I and it doesnt come close to filling up the screen

I have used adblock for ages,you get banned for using it?

And yeah I blocked the space thing but the site still runs rather slow.

Site works rather nicely for me, so far. It's been faster than most other sites, actually.

I really, really like the new aesthetics, but I agree with many others - it's VERY busy on the homepage, took me a minute to find my way around. The easiest way to solve that would be to more easily define boundaries between each item (put borders on each section maybe?), and make the headers larger/more prominent.

I also think the homepage layout should be customizable. Perhaps, in our profiles, we could have a function that allows us to select each part of the main screen, then drag & drop it to the location we want it to be. This is less necessary than just making the front page simpler to navigate, but it would still be really cool.

I also suggest making selectable themes. Many sites and forums have a variety of themes to pick from. I recommend making the "classic" VGChartz themes as options that users can default back to.

So far, that's all I've got. Again, I'm definitely a fan of the upgrade, and I love the way it looks... I just think a few things could be improved to make the site friendlier to the masses.

Is the site optimized for a screen 1280 pixels wide? That's how wide my fiance's clunker of a laptop is, and it's pretty snug.

Fail.
Its the end of the day and its the only thing left I can say. Not because of speed or width. Ive got a good monitor and fast internet with no ads on this site.

But overall layout and colors. Brett pretty much said fuck you if you dont like it so I wont even bother posting my gripes with this anymore. This isnt better for most people dude its not user friendly in the slightest in the end of the day its a bad design.
