With the value of BR decreasing (all the more because it hasn't reached a mainstream growth in marketshare), the price of the PS3 is getting more and more expensive, so I'm not sure a pricecut that leaves it above 300$ would have much effect... One that is bigger will, but wouldn't sony have done something earlier if they could?

Aah! yet another thread spewing the seeds of despair for the need to put metal gear solid something on the 360.......this is getting pathetic. I think there is no need to worry about the exclusive nature of the metal gear solid games due to the fact the engine that was developed by konami as a optimized engine that can only utilize the multi-core functionality of the cell processor. Who would go through so much trouble in porting that type of environment to a system that uses less cores? Most companies believe in saving money, creating another engine or downgrading a port cost money to do. Why in the world would one of the only software companies to make a profit last year, go and burn more money to port a game that sold over 4 million copies on the ps3 over to the 360? It does not sound like sound advice in my opinion.
