Is Sony going to try and secure "MGS Next" exclusivity for PS3?

It's funny how a lot of xbox fans say that they don't care about MGS on 360, but as soon as there's a new (and completely unfounded) rumor on the internet, they always come back crawling and begging for it to be true. How pathetic is that.
