So, what you're saying is that my expectations were simply too high, and indeed the game was never intended to blow everyone away graphically, but instead, I am to blame, for expecting too much?
This is just spin. Everyone with 2 eyes, who saw that trailer, but had been expecticing unbelievably graphics, and these aren't unbelievable.
It IS NOT MY FAULT, or the fault of my eyes, that these graphics aren't as good as what 99 percent of EVERYONE on this forum expected.
I'm tired of being attacked because I have an opinion. A very valid and common one, btw, and one that isn't completely biased, btw.
I mean, it's rediculious, "how can you compare xxx to xxx" it's EASY. I can compare anything, with my eyes. Anyone, not trying to damage control this, can compare technical graphics in any game, to technical graphics in this game, and tell that it DOES NOT look CGI Quality, but instead, it looks failry pixilated and average, and obviouly NOT as good as Uncharted, when it was hyped to look MUCH better than Uncharted. If you deny that it was hyped to look better than anything else...well I have no response to that. There are members of this site, with Avatars NAMED after how "great" the graphics look in this game. Closer to release, they look good, but they don't look like the best game ever.
...do they look like the best graphics ever?
No.
Close?
No.
What say you?

I am not responsible for what people in this or other sites said about this game, nor for your response to that hyping, for what you saw or learned about the game or for what you believe their motivations are. The only discussions I ever had about this game were about its gameplay, and about the Fahrenheit QTE way of treating the action scenes compared to other subgenres of adventure games.
I am simply answering your previous posts, where you compared the very small images in a member's signature with the full fledged graphics of games like Alan Wake (in its technical demo at least), Killzone 2 and Gears 2. Read my comment again.
As for the "I can compare anything, with my eyes", you're either playing dumb or ignoring what I wrote. I'll repeat once again: look at the taxidermist gameplay video, or the lagoon club scene. Look at the HD version of the detective in the junkyard scene. Something in those scenes is clearly better than KZ2 and something is not as good. There's some incredibly detailed human models and settings in the taxidermist demo (the closeup on Madison's face and her eyes is impressive), and an amount of complex action on screen in the club one that is unparalleled in KZ2. At the same time there's not the technical prowess of KZ2 when it comes to light sources or post-rendering effects, nor the advanced animation chaining seen in Uncharted and looking even better in Uncharted 2.
Which will have "better graphics" in the end will depend on what you choose to focus on. Heavy Rain will probably look impressive, though it aimed for very different goals functional to the game structure. It won't need the rendering technicalities of Killzone 2, but it will need incredible amounts of motion capture, and I hope a great stress on facial expressiveness.
This is what I say.
If you want to keep throwing a fit, I won't mind you, but you're wasting your time and energies with the wrong interlocutor.
