Forums - Nintendo - Official The Conduit Thread

Are there any plans for a game tonight?
There was talk of this a few days back, but no one has posted today at all.
If anyone wants to play around 9:00 pm ET I will be available.
To bad about the Conduit sales numbers being much lower than first reported. I really want HVS to make enough money off this to keep producing more games for Wii. Each time they should get better at it.

In the absence of evidence to the contrary, always assume you have the upper hand.

I saw a few people on earlier, but their games were full. I'm getting back on for about an hour, if anybody is interested in playing.

HATING OPHELIA- Coming soon from Markosia Comics!

Sorry about not being online tonight, I got home after church and doing my running around and passed out. Will anyone be up for a game tomorrow?

I'd be up for tonight also. I was on last night, but the few others that were were in full games. So instead i found my own potential with Explosive weapons, finally. Conquered a few matches with my SMAW in hand.

What's bunny hopping?

Is that where if you shoot at them they jump around a lot? surely that is just a basic defence, why is that such a problem?

Bunny hopping is hardly that great in the conduit. In other shooters it messes up the auto aim. On the conduit is just helps you dodge a shot or two. If you want to mess up lock on then run behind your opponent that seems to really mess it up and gives you a good chance at killing your opponent.

Oh I see.... well there isn't an auto aim in The Conduit so it can't mess that up.

Yeah bunny hopping isn't an issue unless you can't point and aim really I mean it already has lock on not much else needed.

Bunny hopping has nothing to do with auto-aim. In nearly every game that it exists on it screws up hit boxes meaning you shoot someone on target but the hits do not register. The Conduit suffers the same problem.

Never had that problem sounds like lag and my connection doesn't suck so I've yet to have this problem.

Hit boxes?

that sounds like something to do with auto aim to me (you aim in the box with the stick and it auto-aims on the person)

Either that or there is a theorhetical box around the person and shooting it damages them, but on the 1-player at least, I know you can shoot between the legs of the enemies without hitting them, which sounds to me like you actually have to hit the person, not a box shape around the person.

Either way, if someone jumps, the hit box would jump with them, so if you miss it is because you missed (or lag) not because someone jumped.
