Oh snap...a VGZ battle this Sunday at 6 PST/9 EST?! Okay i need to add everyone from the front page that I don't have right? Or can I just add them thorough a friend request on Conduit if they are in the same game room?

I'm in for Sunday. I will have to brush up. Been playing through Uncharted again this week for a Platinum. My IR skillz will need honing.

Here are my settings if it helps...Just go up and down on the bounding box and turning speed from here.  I like the Trust camera but you have to keep in mind it messes up the zoom...

Yeah, the Human camera doesn't have the Zoom bug I don't think but the extra movement makes it less accurate overall, IMO... There may be a better setup than mine out there.

Maybe they left out x-look with dead zone because they wanted to keep the arm movement in the X-direction before you start to turn always in?

HVS didn't do that well on providing the best default settings IMO.  We should try to discuss it and figure out if there is a consensus on the best and email it to them for their future games... There is a button layout thread somewhere that would work...

I have a few questions that need to be answered before Sunday's game.

  1. Are we going to be using WiiSpeak? I have not tried it yet, so if anyone has tips for setting it up, please let me know! I don't want to be the cause of unnecessary feed back or others issues.
  2. Are we having a set game style, or just vote? Teams or free for all?
  3. If I do a "friend of a friend" request on Sunday (I have never done this before), does it still take a few days for that person(s) to show up in the Friends Roster? Will that effect the game play?
  4. To join the game on Sunday, do I need just the person hosting the game on my Friend's list?
  5. If we have (for example) 12 players, and only 5 are on my Friends list, can I still use WiiSpeak? Will is work with 5, 12, or some other number of players?
  6. Any other tips that will help me to be prepared for Sunday.

I am looking forward to this!

What is going on Sunday? Some kind of tournament or just people from VGchartz playing.

Last night on warehouse, I got 4 out of the 5 captures for my team. I died a lot but I helped the team win.
