Don't see how anyone could begin to call this a button mashing game. If your taken to the ground an you try to mash buttons your going to get tkoed or submitted pretty quick. If all you do is mash buttons standing your going to get taken down quick.

Basically imo whoever says this is a button mashing game, has no idea how to play an just plain sucks at it.

There are plenty of games i suck at, for example i suck very badly at Street Fighter 4, but i don't say the game sucks. I just have no freaking clue how to play it.

It IS a button masher though.

I finished the tutorial last night and they straight up tell you to mash the buttons when you are going for a submission or trying to escape from a submission.

That's exactly how it is in WWE games too. So dissappointing THQ.

As far has head kicks, you can block them and if you time it right you can catch their leg and punch/take them down. As you get more tired or if you are unbalanced while putting your hands up, a blocked leg kick will still do some damage.

As for create-a-fighter, while I admit some more options would have been nice for nicknames and some more general stuff, what they did with "choosing" moves is understandable. It would take a very long time to make a guy if you chose every move he did in every situation.

You also mention that you can do too many superman punches, head kicks etc. becasue they don't take up enough energy. However, they take less energy because they are not as strong in the game as they are in real life. By all rights, one - three clean head kicks would knock out just about anybody, but they can't do that for a video game. So yes, you can do more of these signature moves, but they aren't as strong as in real life. However, you can still do a flash KO if you catch somebody clean while they're off balance, coming at you or throwing a strike of their own. So I understand why it is the way it is.

To do a submission, all you have to press is ONE button. R3.

and to get out of a submission, you have to BUTTON MASH.

Yes...this game is so hard...its so technical and complex. LOL.

What would you rather have push left right down triangle to do a submission. Most of the efforts where put in with the grappling, the mount, the passes an so on.

If you played anyone with half a clue what to do, an all you did was that head kick, you would get messed up quick as hell.

Obviously no matter what anyone says to prove you wrong, you are not going to change your opinion, which is cool but most of us will still think you have no idea how to play the game, simply because of the comments you make.
