Honestly I have no issue with there being too many threads about this subject. To be truthful I think it is quite lovely. The truth was that KZ2 was the zealots crutch of choice for ages. They took a deep pleasure from cracking it over other members heads, and even more pleasure in proclaiming the game a Messiah. Now that these claims have been proven false it is only right that the people that put up with the crap get their turn at bat. Those with reason need not feel offended, as in those that made rational points, or at least attempted to use a real logic.

Speaking to which game is of higher quality. People have personal preferences, but I will say this. Halo 3 has the higher average review score according to both Metacritic and Gamerankings. I know a lot of members only accept these numbers when they suit their own purposes. Even so I will say it again. A higher average review score, and if you say you only trust one source. I say your ass better stick to that story, because if you ever use a compiler your dancing with a public flogging.

Also speaking to certain members that shall remain nameless. Your personal opinion about which is best is null and void if you do not actually own all the games mentioned. Do not insult our intelligence. We can check your games library. Oh and do not feed us the lie about playing a friends house. Even if you actually did do this. I am willing to wager it probably wasn't the kind of quality time needed to make a real assessment. Fifteen minutes of learning controls does not make for a very thorough experience.

well, the clan system in kz2 is certainly very competitive. the valor system makes it that way. Most people who play kz2 also seem to care a lot about xp gained and their stats (cod4 to a much lesser extent) but that may be because everyone who bought the game is extremely hardcore while the rest sent hate mail to Guerilla complaining that the game wasn't Zone of Duty 4.

I'm pretty sure there are competitive aspects to Halo 3 as well. Don't they even have national championships for Halo? Yiou just happen to be a more casual player. With 10 million sold, there are bound to be tons of casuals.

Aslo, there is a misconception that kz2 is similar to cod4. as someone who's extensively played both, I'd be the first to tell you that they are very very different. I don't know why people think the games are similar.

Base on what do you conclude this?

Graphics?  Does Halo 3 have bots? Multiplayer functionality, besides modes?  Halo 3 has aim assist, and KZ2 doesn't?

Only case I can see you see is that the number of modes in Halo 3 is off the chart.  Not sure what other measure you can use.

Why would PS3 fanboys need to make excuse for Killzone 2, the guy in the article already did that. Just read the article and him giving all kind of reasons why KZ2 sold less than Halo 3.

Omg how is that not Fanboyism...The fact that COD4 has a way bigger Fan base on the PS3 than Killzone should show how the average PS3 owner feels...I personally Like the Class system in Killzone better than the CoD4 one...But that does not make the CoD4 classes = a dung bag...And Kz2 Clan is system is the way newer one...So anything else but excellent would of been a huge draw back...

You might find the benefit in a small community..But I find lots of draw backs...One for instance is player availability...IN Cod4 you can play 8 hours straight(On Xbox) and not run out of People to Play...Where as a smaller comunity would not be beneficial for lets say someone who works late or can only play at certain times....The Few times I played Killzone 2 I had no problem getting into action....But There where a lot of Half filled rooms Or was unable to get into the Long winded Lobby becuase everyone would be clustered there(Proly clan vs Clan)...And fighting Bots is stupid....

I'm not sure what your getting at...But KillZone does have AIM assists...No Halo 3 does not need Bots..There is like almost 10million people that own the Game..And constantly play it..Since Halo 3 is always on the XboxLive top ten

And I agree with deathgod33...Halo 3 is plain and simply put better than kz2...lots of Zealots will want to talk about Graphics and Technicals and a bunch of no factor things..But won't admit that not even the Ps3 userbase cares for KZ2...

Halo 3 has 4 player coop, Forge (tons of custom modes), theatre mode, a better story, more weapons/vechicles/air to use.

The sales are just proof the PS3 fanboy army is shrinking, they got the mouths but dont have the numbers.
