Forums - Gaming - Microsoft Negotiating for Xbox 360 Exclusivity of Tony Hawk: Ride in UK

They should've gone for SKATE....god some people at Microsoft are just dumbfucks. I mean even though Sony chose Ghostbusters, I can understand that they did it to commemorate their Blu Ray version of Ghostbusters.

Man, sony and microsoft pick the weirdest games to be exclusives

who cares about Ghostbusters and Tony hawk anymore?

oh and im waiting for people to rant about how MS gave 68 million people the finger.

This.

Ghostbusters will be excellent.   Accept this fact and do not fear its level of awesome-ness.

Umm... 'kay. That doesn't mean people care for it though.

I didn't think this game would matter.  Why would Microsoft do this?  Just to get back at PS3 for ghostbusters?

Well... what else would MS's gaming division do with all those bags of dollars?

What's that you say?  Fund a better R&D division for next-gen's hardware?  Don't be silly.

Hummm.....Ok...I'll give the RRoD..But besides that the Xbox 360 Hardware is Fantastic and yet to be used to full Potential...No games use the Xenon's three Cores yet....But alas....The RRoD Makes my argument almost pointless....But still I stand by By 360!

You know by last gens performance that Microsoft can make quality hardware. If they hadn't rushed the hardware this gen, they wouldn't have made any progress. Microsoft paid for what was a debatable and risky action. Next gen they will have a larger start-up fan base, which is why they wont rush the system out of the gate.

The thing is that the 360 gave the performance of the PS3 despite coming out a year earlier.  It's a pretty awesome console in terms of hardware.  Microsoft needs to do that again.  Great performance without a huge pricetag.  The more they get for less, the better they'll be overall next gen.

They Own the chip Ip's so they will be able too!

While Sony is in a joint venture so they are in a stickier situation.

You know this is was a PR mistake? It's going to be multi-plat
