I didn't think this game would matter.  Why would Microsoft do this?  Just to get back at PS3 for ghostbusters?

Well... what else would MS's gaming division do with all those bags of dollars? 

What's that you say?  Fund a better R&D division for next-gen's hardware?  Don't be silly.

 

 

You know by last gens performance that Microsoft can make quality hardware. If they hadn't rushed the hardware this gen, they wouldn't have made any progress. Microsoft paid for what was a debatable and risky action. Next gen they will have a larger start-up fan base, which is why they wont rush the system out of the gate.
