Some people are amped up for the upcoming OnLive service, while others fear its existence. OnLive offers gamers a new way to game as it allows fully streamed games right to your computer or TV. No need for downloads and no need to buy expensive hardware. Well that’s just about the only thing we know about Onlive so far and turns out they won’t even be attending E3 this year to give us more news.

Their official blog states:

More than anything, E3 is a retail-oriented conference, both for retail platforms and retail publishers, and OnLive is neither." However he adds, "You'll hear and see plenty from us this year in the run up to our external Beta and launch."

So no Onlive for us at this years E3, but who knows what’s to come. OnLive is scheduled to go into beta phrase this summer with an official launch date of this Fall for the US. Stay tuned as we bring you more coverage.
