| seece said: LOL at people saying "ooo harsh", you havn't even played the game yet how would you KNOW they're being harsh, and don't tell me "Oh but I have played the demo!!" sod the poxy demo you havn't played the full game so stop with the stupid insults towards Eurogamer. |
yeah but mate eurogamer always get game scores wrong. Thats one site I never look at when it comes to well anything. I avoid that site as much as I can unless its to read one of there crappy reviews. I give eurogamer a 3/10 when it comes to game reviews and you'll see in this post a lot of others disreguard eurogamer on reviews because well they suck

You FAIL......
A 7/10 from Euro Gamer is equivalent to an 8.5/10 or 9/10 from another reviewer. Anyway InFamous is a good game well worth the purchase.

I was going to say that EuroGamer may just track low on scores... Which would mean a 7 could be equivalent to an 8.5 or 9 on some of those sites that think a "1-10" score starts at 7 and ends at 9.5.
Believing in the PLAYSTATION®3......IS.......S_A_C_R_I_L_E_G_E
right now based on 24 reviews, the game has an average of 27, with a standard deviation of 5. Anything past 10 points off the average is telling you that there is something wrong with the score.

@ TheSteve
I don't think so, they often provide ratings well above industry averages. With regard to this and their low ratings IMO there's a lot of inconsistency. Also reading the arguments used against some games, with other games suffering from these same issues more severely they are suddenly ignored, etc.
They (Eurogamer UK) also overhype minor differences and generate too many false technology related comments, IMO demonstrating they don't really have much technology insight and are often just acting on fanboy impulses.

Hmm I've just had a go at the very long and extensive demo, from virtually zero interest I'm now a day one. This really is a very fun game :D
