Lost Odyssey is a JRPG...not an RPG. Mass Effect is an actual RPG.

Japanese RPGs are a subset of RPGs, they are all Role Playing Games, but of course there is a very wide range of RPGs that are pretty much incomparible

Luckily for the developers they've already created an amazing storyboard. All they have to do is follow up, and the little preview looked amazing. I bet if the game was exclusive to PS3, you would be all over it.

 

No I want.  I had a 360 and played the 1st ME.  I didn't really like the 1st one so I wouldn't care if ME2 is on PS3.  I will not buy it.

Yes...an unorthodox subset, which takes the power out of the players hand and puts it completely into the hands of the story. In RPG's you create the story, which is what Mass Effect allows. You have consequences. In JPRG's you're playing a storyboard with a relatively close battle system to WPRG's which are the rule. The battle system is about the only similarity to what an RPG is.

No one Cried when that happend to KillZone 2

 

I said "if' it be a bad game.  I didn't say it will be.  Some game sequels that suppose to be good turn out bad.  For example Devil May Cry 2 was garbage but the 3rd made up for it.  For KZ2 that game is awsome.  The only thing the made me cry for KZ2 is how beautiful the graphics is.
