The pain from the unbalanced mess that is Gears of War 2

Oh, and also the end of Lost Odyssey came close

Mass Effect 2 will if mrstickball is right and Shepherd dies at the start of the game

Agreed,Gears 2 truely does saden me,Gears 1 had a great multiplayer that  needed a little work, gears 2 has a horrible multiplayer and I'm begining to think it' hopeless. How can epic F#*K Up so bad.People played Gears 1 for 2 years on the strength of its multiplayer,Gears 2 should have been built from the ground up for multiplayer, but it stinks, lag, matchmaking sucks, even with the new rank system the lag and balance kill it.Why Epic? Why.You remain at 5 on live charts, behind Cod,halo, and even the dreadful GTA4.You coulda been #1,but you ignord what made your 1st game such a success.

Tales of Vesperia, because when I beat it, I acknowledged the fact that they would probably never make a direct sequel to the damn-near perfect JRPG. The characters were so fantastic, they felt like friends. Which I promise I will NEVER say about a videogame.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

I don't think a game has made me cry yet this generation. It has happened in the past -- the suikoden games have managed it, I think... possibly the end of FF X? At least it left me feeling a bit empty for a while...

The finale of Braid, where you're basically watching a cutscene (don't want to spoil anything) definitely gave me chills up my spine... I think that kind of blue fire is probably harder to achieve than just writing something engaging and sad enough to make people cry.

Portal also had at least one moment like that, though it was mixed in with survival adrenaline.

I'm waiting for a PS3 fanboy to come in here and say FFXIII :)

Which suikoden games are you talking are you talking about? I think Suikoden V made me cry a bit because I get lost for like 30 minutes or  for each objective I have to do. =(

Im so sorry Maria i tried to find you !!

I'm a grown man. Video games/movies/music/tv shows don't make me cry. However, I would be unhappy or fulfilled if my favorite character died, but I don't cry for fictional characters. I would cry only for REAL things that affect my life in a negative or really. really, really positive way.

Are you kidding me?

How can anybody not cry when Dumbo's mom gets locked up?

Like I said, I'm a GROWN MAN. I don't cry for fictional things as a GROWN MAN. I thought I was clear. Anyway, I can't even remember watching Dumbo, but Lion King did make me sad. However, I still did not cry. Media can make me sad or feel sorry for a character, but only real stuff makes me cry. In addition, as a man, I don't even feel deep sadness for fictional characters. I would still feel a little sad though. I guess I'm the only person who cry for REAL TRAMATIC events. I honestly don't understand how a GROWN MAN can cry over a character that's not real. That person would kill themselves if someone close to them died. You know what, these people should cry for the kids in Africa dying of hungar/Aids. THAT'S SAD. I would cry REAL people dying.
