Mistwalker is MS funded, but they are releasing DS games, just like RARE. The portable space can be lucrative.

microsoft publish or have franchices games on ds like Age of Empires: Age of Kings, MechAssault: Phantom War, Diddy Kong Racing DS, and viva piñata ds, so is possible

Yes it was Microsoft Game Studios published...

Microsoft seems to be doing a lot of hedging of its gaming bets...

Release stuff later on both DS and PC so if 360 fails they have a place to go...

It jumped ship pretty quick.

Is this Blue Dragon 2? I feel bad for the Japanese gamers that bought a 360 for this, only to find out the franchise isn't even continuing on that console. Actually, I'd be infuriated.

The only reason Blue Dragon was on more than on DVD is the HD FMV that was used. I really don't see the point of FMV on the 360, PS3, or Wii for that matter.
