I admire High Voltage. But anyone else thinks they are going a bit too far?We has yet to see how the Conduit does with the critics and sales wise. But this guys are talking like if there game was already huge.Don´t get me wrong guys,I am just saying that maybe they should calm down a bit.During an interview with Gamespot on early may Eric said that they have already "achieve it" with the Conduit.

I agree to a large extent, especially since their WiiWare games haven't been at all impressive. But you have to realize that if you're a developer, especially one who's just self-funded a large project, you really can't wait to see where the chips fall before planning your next move: you still have bills to pay, and you'll have to keep making new stuff to bring in more cash.

Think of Factor 5, for instance. They didn't wait to see that Lair flopped before they started on their next PS3 game, because they couldn't afford to do so. Of course, that same example shows the risk, since if your assumptions are wrong...

I wonder what else they're working on besides Animales de la Muerte (which I'm anticipating).

HVS stated few months ago that they're working on 2 new exclusive wii games and one of those games is FPS, so i guess it might be Conduit 2 - especially when they confirmed that they want to make this IP into a series.

These guys are expecting for 10m+ sales with the conduit, so they might actually think that their game is HUGE.

nintendo should be looking at supporting these guys and possibly buying them up. unless of course the conduit does actually hit 1m then theykll probably be fine staying with sega

Why does everyone think "The Conduit" is HVS's first Wii game?

They've done NINE Wii/WiiWare games so far and they have THREE upcoming Wii titles including The Conduit.

Two things:

When did anyone say that?

And to answer the question: it's because the Conduit is the first most people have really heard of.

Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.
